“I don’t need protection,” Elsie said, glaring.

Follow Sally on:
‘’There are two kinds of people in the world those with guns and those that dig.”
This iconic sentence from the “Good the Bad and the Ugly” was meant to change my life once and for all. I chose to be the one to hold the gun and, in my case…the pen!
I started writing as soon as I learned the alphabet. At first, it was some little fairytales, but I knew that this undimmed passion was my life’s purpose.
I share the same love with my husband for the classic western movies, and we moved together to Texas to leave the dream on our little farm with Daisy, our lovely lab.
I’m a literary junkie reading everything that comes into my hands, with a bit of weakness on heartwarming romances and poetry.
If you choose to follow me on this journey, I can guarantee you characters that you would love to befriend, romances that will make your heart beat faster, and wholesome, genuine stories that will make you dream again!

“And what am I to you now?”
“Safe,” he said. “Nothing more.”

He gave her a look. “Good. Delicate flowers don’t survive out here.”

“So this is just a business deal to you?” Dazy’s hands were clenched at her sides.
“Isn’t that what you wanted?” Luke said. “Someone to save your ranch—not your heart.”

“You keep acting like I’m the problem.”
His voice was cold. “The problem is, if I let myself care about you, I might not survive it.”

“You think you can protect me from him?” she asked, doubt in her voice.
“I don’t think. I know,” Alexander said.
